The Cistercian Gymnasium follows the same logic of the existing O’Neil Ford buildings with a clarity of structure and a rationality of purpose. The linkage building in between the original gym (not a Ford building) and the new gym provides the ancillary services, while the new gymnasium sits as a simple volume, clad in the traditional Cistercian brick with translucent clerestories.
